Passing on the Baton

If you were in church on Sunday 19th October, you could not have failed to be blown away by the way our young people led the service - what an amazing youth group we have! Their confidence was overwhelming, and I don’t only mean the confidence to stand in front of the rest of us looking on, but the confidence they have in demonstrating their faith in Jesus Christ. Our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them!

Our Mission statement is to ‘tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord’, and that is surely taking place in our Sunday groups, on Fridays at the Zone, and with NewGen. The children and youth group leaders are doing incredible work in passing on the baton to our younger members, who are grasping it with both hands! We are so privileged to have these young people worshipping alongside us at St. Andrew’s.
