New book: The Loneliness Epidemic

Lizzie Ashley, Project Director for The Lighthouse Project has written a fantastic booklet on young people and loneliness: The Loneliness Epidemic: The Journey from Loneliness to Connectedness.

It’s short, but has loads in it, analysing the challenges young people face and offering ways in which churches can respond.

Lizzie is holding a booklet launch and informal training evening on Wednesday 29th October at 7.00pm, at Transformation Community Church, Furnace Green (opposite the doctors). It will be a great opportunity to meet with others who work with children and young people in various settings and to discuss how we can each play our part in journeying with young people from loneliness to connectedness.
