Operation Christmas Child - Thank you!

A big thank you to all those who filled shoeboxes with lovely gifts by bringing a box to church, packing one online, or contributing in some other way.

180 wonderful boxes from the church, school, toddler group, craft group, Brownies, Cubs and the local community have been taken to the processing centre at Tonbridge, and we know that many more have been packed online. The boxes will soon be on their way to children somewhere in the world who won’t otherwise receive much this Christmas.

You are sharing God’s love in a very tangible way and the children will be thrilled to play with and use the wonderful toys and practical things you have generously given them. On behalf of the children – thank you.

In due course we will hear more about where the boxes have gone.
