Thanks for the Shoeboxes

A big thank you to all who filled shoeboxes with lovely gifts – by bringing a box to church, by packing one online, or by contributing in some other way. 224 wonderful boxes have gone this week to the processing centre at Tonbridge.

These boxes, and those packed online, will soon be on their way to children who won’t otherwise receive much at Christmas, whether they be in Ukraine, a neighbouring country or somewhere else in the world. You are sharing God’s love in a very practical way and the children will be thrilled to play with and use the wonderful things that you have generously given them. On behalf of the children – thank you.

In due course we will hear more about where the boxes have gone.
