Memorial Service

Marilyn Appleby

We realise that during the Covid lockdowns, many of us have lost someone close to us, either family, friend or work colleague. Unfortunately there were restrictions on the numbers of guests allowed at funeral services and many were deprived of the opportunity to ‘say goodbye’.

This year in our Memorial Service we hope to take this into account with, ‘A quiet talk with those who weep’, a selection of words and music that may touch our hearts, as we allow God to comfort and sustain us. There will, of course still be the opportunity to light a candle in memory of those we have lost, whether it has been a recent loss or some time ago.

Candle request cards are now available on the table by the entrance and in the café area.

This year's service will be on 7th November at 4.00pm.
