CAP Christmas Hampers

CAP LogoGreat news! The hampers will be happening this year so CAP can continue to bless their clients at Christmas.

They are asking people to get involved on Saturday 19th December. The idea is that in your bubble, you sign up at the Elim Church web site to attend a 45m slot at Elim church where you bring some items, make the hamper and then drop off to the client - Bring It, Make it and Take It.

More information can be found in their video (you don't need a Facebook account to watch).

For those who would like to donate items, please drop them off at the vicarage (please mark them for CAP hamper), directly to the CAP debt centre at Elim church or contact Peter Ions  who can hopefully arrange an alternative. CAP are looking for chocolates, biscuits (savoury & sweet), mince pies, Christmas puddings, jam, tinned ham, coffee, tea, tinned ham or salmon, sweets, pickled onions or gherkins and Pringles.

In addition, Easter Team and Open House are still very grateful for donations. Easter Team would really appreciate donations of size 5 nappies, tins of potatoes and desserts including packets of custards. They are also beginning to collect items for their Christmas parcels, including Christmas socks, Toiletries in gift packs, Christmas chocolate and other goodies  (alcohol free please) and Gift bags. Open House would especially like donations of milk, sugar and toilet rolls.

Apart from the above, all donations for any non-perishable food will be gratefully received.
